Dreaming of Spring

(In addition to re-blogging my FabFree posts here I am also going to begin showing items that are not free, but things I like none the less. I hope you do too! )

For  the past week I’ve had small tastes of Springtime. The weather has become warmer, I’ve seen the birds migrating, and even a few bugs swarming my head as I’ve walked the dog. But, like the beginning of anything, you sometimes find yourself waiting on the bench for things to finally happen… the first tulip to emerge from the ground, the birds of spring to start singing their tune or just for that special moment with someone you want to share some time with. But, I have to remember that it is still February and I awoke to snow on the ground this morning… I guess Spring will just have to wait…

I am really loving the menswear I’m finding at A&D Clothing. And it isn’t just the clothing. I really like the HUDS that come with the fatpacks. There are so many customization options to make each piece your own look. From the buttons to belt buckles, and cuffs to liners,  the options are endless.

I have also become a fan of RK Poses. It started with the couples group gift poses (there are several free ones for members) but lately I’ve been exploring their single poses for men. The poses look very lifelike and not static and wooden as you so often see. The posturing of the body and hand positions are carefully, and in my opinion, wonderfully presented.

The Work Week Cometh

I thought I’d get one more post in before the work week begins (and very little time to blog). I joined the group for FREE at Prism for Men and scored the Jeremy Outfit as the group gift. This mesh outfit includes the shirt and pants with accompanying alphas AND a HUD to change each to four different colors. (4 pants x 4 shirts = 16 different outfit combinations).

Last Minute Hunting

There is still time left to find items in the Fall ’16 MenStuff Hunt. All items on this hunt are $0L – $1L.  I found the Men’s Classic Checkerboard Sneakers at Kingbal Stores for FREE all it just took a little searching. I also found some poses from Pics & Poses for FREE. I really need to update my collection.

Summer Learning

I decided, if I have to teach a few weeks of summer school, I’m going to be comfortable. I found just the look and I started at ::K:: at ::C’est la vie. I won the Mesh Accent Tie on the Lucky Board. While I was there, I also picked up a Mesh Summer Cardigan w/ Marine Tee for $200L.

Just Puckin’ Around

I’m feeling Puckish while hunting the gifts on the A Midsummer Night’s Dream Hunt. Please note that gifts on this hunt are $1L each. Two of the gifts helped me get into the mood. The Got Puck? Kneeling Before Anubis

I found two very nice Egyptian roleplaying costumes at Affinity Boutique. The  Simply Egypt Kilt 1 is a white kilt that would work well for a servant or a slave.

Those Summer Nights

It seems that both Love and Renee are having connectivity issues, so I’m taking the night off and enjoying some fireworks at 2012 Summer Town, USA  to celebrate the first official day of Summer. I wanted to show off my patriotic colors and found them at Top Katz as part of the I’m Independent Hunt. I’m wearing the unisex U.S. Flag Tank and Stars & Blue Striped Pants. Call Me Snake

One of my guilty pleasures is watching Escape From New York, so I put together my version of Snake Plissken from the hunt gifts found on the Make Him Over Hunt. I gave my Snake the mesh Bone Leather Jacket from BC322 Skull & Bones. I dressed him in the hunt gift by Good Clothing. The Main Force Outfit comes witha tank top, leather vest and pants, boots, gloves and sunglasses. There is also a female version of this outfit in the gift.

I chose the Nando Tan Skin, the hunt prize at Akeruka and the Kin Hair from Ayashi to give Snake a rugged look. I accessorized with the Dirty Piercing from Acide and the Steel Necklace hunt gift at K!ing. I am also using the hunt gift from Focus Poses. You can get the Casual Men Poses in that hunt gift. To the Beach!
